Plan on at least four clips per panel, plus one at every intermediate support. That minimum comes from grating manufacturers' installation details. OSHA 1910.22 sets the performance requirement for secure walking-working surfaces rather than a clip count, so follow your grating manufacturer's detail or the engineer of record.

The C CLIPS fits 19-W-4, 15-W-4 steel grating. Sizes: 1" to 2" bearing bar depth. Send us your bearing bar depth and spacing and we will confirm the right clip.
Mechanically galvanized (ASTM B695) is the standard choice and covers most general industrial work. Choose 304 stainless for washdown and chemical exposure, or 316 stainless for saltwater and chlorides.
